Nico

My name is Nico, dive master of the group. Rollins business grad, Fulbright scholar, frat president, world traveler, Ironman and I just bike rode 4500 across the country with 2 high school buddies as an alternative activity when my Fulbright work visa was revoked because of Covid.  I have a passion for Jiu-Jitsu, board games, learning and obviously spear fishing as its a wonderful and healthy activity and Boca is a great place to do it. You may not know, but while working in Tanzania I obtained the nickname “fundi“ for my ability to round cement mixed countertops. Look forward to seeing you soon!

Gibby

Friends & family call me Gibby. I competitively swim, being a top 10 nationally ranked swimmer and LOVE free-diving.  In fact, I don’t think I’ve spent a day out of the water for the past 3 years. I’m an avid angler who has been fishing the Boca Grande waters for a number of years and have caught everything from tarpon to ladyfish and everything in between. My favorite part of Boca Grande would be the laid back atmosphere and excellent activities on the water.  Wether relaxing on the beach or nose to nose with Goliath grouper or dolphin, you can expect to have a great day with us!

Matteo “Te”

Hi! I’m Nico’s younger better brother. I like all sports, competition, board games, travel and fun.  I have acted in a movie even though it has not yet been published but my main interests are in finance and investing.  I love the beach and water and Beckett and I make up the islands best spike ball team to date, even though my dad and bro claim that title. I’m known for being able to make up a fun game anywhere and with anything and look forward to meeting you soon!

Beckett

Hi!, I’m Gibby’s younger better brother.  I play competitive soccer and am up for any activity on beach and water. I’m a pretty good acrobat and we came up with some pretty amazing Covid beach activities while in BG, check the web videos. In BG, I like to to play a good game of basketball and surf behind our boat. I’ve been boating the Boca Grande waters for 5 years and look forward to taking you diving soon, its an amazing experience.

Captain Zack “suds” Sudol

My friends call me Suds, I was born in Steamboat Springs Colorado and my love for the water commenced at a very young age. I started fishing as soon as I could pick up a rod and my experiences have taken me all over the world and made me a very versatile fisherman and spear fisherman. I spend the summer fly fishing guiding and the winters saltwater guiding. I recently graduated Rollins College with a business management degree and have certifications in free diving, scuba diving, CPR and First aid. My goal for every client is to provide a memorable experience on the water. Come relax and let’s spear!

About Boca Grande

The Boca Grande Pass is considered one of the world's best fishing spots. Many species of fish call this area home.

Fish we spear (season depending):

• grouper
• mackerel
• snapper
• sheep’s head
• cobia
• barracuda

The massive attraction to Boca Grande Pass is unknown and subject to many theories. In the spring, it appears that many of the fish's habits all along the coast are in orientation to Boca Grande Pass. With depths reaching near 80 feet (24 m), it is the deepest natural pass in Florida. As the bottleneck of the harbor, the currents are strong and serve as an underwater highway for many species of fish and bait.

In addition to the great fishing and free diving, you will almost always spot wildlife out on your adventure.

Be ready to be visited by the local “spear watching” dolphin - Bob, almost always a daily presence.
